This postcard is a mash-up of a card originally sent to Karen by Suzi, who then altered and used the image from that card. It is now our logo and postage. We love to up-cycle, even our own works!
Opening on September 27 in North Adams, this show features artists from Berkshire County. Karen is one of the features ‘masters of the form’. Correspondence from the FeMail archive are in the exhibit.
Please follow this link for more details. You will see the original Brillo Van postcard that we use as our logo.

A Mail Exchange Between Artists from America and Australia
This show features the work that was exchanged throughout the course of a yearlong project. It began August 2011, when six artists came together to participate in an international mail exchange project. For the project, instigator Tara O’Brien invited five friends to participate: Babette Angell, Anne-Maree Hunter and Heather Matthew; from the United States are Katie Baldwin, Melanie Mowinski. These women are print makers, book artists, and despite very busy lives continue to make artwork.
The festivities will kick off on August 30th at 6 P.M. so bring a friend and tell a friend about August’s Downstreet Art Kickoff 2012!
Make sure you RSVP on our Facebook page!
